So now that the news of your retirement has set in and we’re getting ready for opening day without you- I just want to let you know how very much you have meant to me and Magic Mirror. You have given us 24 years(!!) of excellent service, creativity, wise advice and great friendship. I always said we were suppose to walk out arm and arm but your plan came first and honestly, I truly don’t blame you for making this decision to move into the next phase of your life. So that being said, Rosie I just want THANKYOU so much for all you have given to make Magic Mirror so Fabulous, Fun and the wonderful salon that has made me so proud of! Hello all!
I just wanted to drop a quick note to all of the special people who I have had the privilege of knowing and serving. I have made the hard decision to not return to my chair at Magic Mirror salon on June 1.
These last 10 weeks I have been helping to care for my grandchildren as my daughters were working throughout this pandemic. It was scary and the threat to everyone in my age group it just to risky in my mind.
Although my heart is heavy, I know this decision is right for the safety of myself and my family.
I entered this world of hair 42 years ago not realizing what an impact it would have have in my life . The beauty industry has allowed me to raise my beautiful family . Create a beautiful life and meet so many wonderful people who are so much a part of who I became as a person.
I’ve helped stylists grow, taught techniques and payed it forward to help many succeed in this industry.
I have treasured each and every friendship I’ve made throughout this journey. We’ve shared tough times and tears and we’ve shared joyous times and laughter. And for that I am eternally grateful. While I know this decision hard, I know it is the right for me.
It is my wish that when you look through old photos of weddings, and events , you will see me there for you as it was always a joy for me to be a part of your lives. If anything changes and I return to my chair, you will all be the first to know .
